  1. Wow i'm so glad to have found this website:) I have started baking cakes not long ago,!!! i'm teaching myself by looking at sites like yours.. I'm supose to bake a cake for my friends daughter ( MY NIECE) this sartuday, i promised to do so as i've been bragging about how good my chocolate cake tested!! (ME AND MY BIG MOUTH)I'm not realy worried about her but its everybody else who's gonna be there..:( Any tips????

  2. Keep doing what you're doing! The more you learn, the more you know! Youtube is another great resource, you can actually see the process. www.youtube.com/seriouscakes

    She's a good friend of mine and has the most amazing talent and her videos are so fun to watch.

    I think the biggest tip I can give is don't bite off more than you can chew. Experiment on close friends to practice. :) I like to use extra frosting to practice techniques. If you have any cake decorating classes in your area, check them out!
